The District 9 Commuity Service Committee wrapped up its raffle for a $500 gift card to Kenrick’s Meats (a union butcher shop in St. Louis). One of our New Car Dealerships that the District represents donated the funds and wishes to be anonymous.

Congratulations Sister Charlotte Whitt a Local 777’s member and Recording/Secretary of the committee. “What??!! That’s crazy. I did buy 3 tickets though. Lol”. Was her reply when she was contacted. Charlotte is very active in the organization and we are all grateful for all that she does.

The committee is grateful for the donations, the Locals and Staffs efforts in selling tickets, the individuals that sold tickets and all the volunteers the took part in last year’s events.

The raffle was almost sold out and all the funds raised will be used for upcoming projects. So please reach out to your Local if you are looking to volunteer, be a part of the committee or have any project ideas in your community.
